Pocket Tach PT99

The Pocket Tach 99 (PT99) is a compact and precise handheld optical tachometer designed for non-contact measurements of rotational speeds ranging from 5 to 99,999 RPM. With a red LED light source, it allows measurements up to 36 inches away from a reflective target at an angle of up to 30° off perpendicular. The device features a 5-digit alphanumeric LCD display, offering accuracy of ±0.01% of reading or ±1 digit, with auto-ranging resolution from 0.001 RPM to 1.0 RPM. The unit is equipped with a memory function for maximum, minimum, and last readings. Safety precautions include a warning about the visible red LED light emitted by the device and cautions against intentional aiming at people or animals. The PT99 is tripod mountable for continuous measurements and features a lock-on mode. The LCD symbols provide information on the on-target indicator, low battery status, times ten values, LED indicator, and lock status.
