ACT-3X Programmable Tachometer and Totalizer

The ACT-3X Programmable Tachometer and Totalizer is a versatile and compact device designed for precision speed measurement and counting applications. Featuring a 1/8 DIN size with a clear 5-digit LED display, it offers a wide speed range from 5 to 999,990 RPM, accommodating various industrial needs. This NIST calibrated instrument accepts inputs from Monarch speed sensors or any standard TTL generating device, providing flexibility for diverse applications. Programming is user-friendly through front panel pushbuttons or the optional PM Remote Software, allowing for easy customization. The software enables real-time data viewing on a PC, data storage in Excel files, and remote configuration. With universal AC power compatibility (100-240 V ac) or optional 12/24 V dc input, the ACT-3X suits various power requirements. Optional output configurations include 4-20 mA or 0-5 V dc, providing scalable outputs for interface with other systems. It finds applications in process monitoring, research and development, engine performance analysis, and predictive maintenance, among others. The ACT-3X supports a broad speed range with programmable scaling, accurate readings with ±0.001% precision, and a high-resolution 5-digit LED display. It offers versatile input options, including universal inputs for optical, proximity, magnetic, infrared, or laser sensors, making it adaptable to different sensing technologies.
