Heat Detector HTD-8800/8811-FLP

The HTD-8800/8811-FLP Heat Detector is an innovative solution for detecting heat build-up in various industrial settings. Unlike conventional heat detectors, this device operates with a unique configuration. It features a Potential-Free NO (Normally Open) contact output, which remains open when the ambient temperature is below the set point and becomes short when the temperature exceeds the set point. The detector has a wide temperature range of 40°C to 90°C, with a factory preset option available. Designed for reliability, the detector offers fast response to overheat conditions and comes equipped with auto-reset functionality, resetting itself after the temperature cools down. With low power consumption (less than 3W), it ensures energy efficiency. The electrical specifications include a supply voltage range of 18 to 36 VDC and two relay contacts for primary and secondary alarms.

1. Detection Technique:

–  Heat Detector Utilizes a fixed temperature rate
– compensated thermal heat detection method for reliable performance.

2. Rated Alarm Temperature:

– Heat Detector can Adjust temperature range from 40°C to 90°C, meeting diverse customer requirements.

3. Set Point:

– Factory preset according to customer specifications for ease of use.

4. Auto-Reset Operation:

– Heat Detector Automatically resets itself after the ambient temperature cools down, ensuring continuous monitoring.

5. LED Indicators:

– Heat Detector Equipped with four LEDs – two for alarm alerts, one for power/health status, and one for communication status.

6. Power Consumption:

– Low power consumption, consuming less than 3W for energy efficiency.

7. Electrical Supply:

– Operates on a supply voltage power of 18 to 36 VDC, typically 24 VDC.

8. Wiring:

– Supports flexible or armored shielded cable (1.5mm) for supply and output, with two pairs of black-white wires for Class A and Class B looping.

9. Output Signal:

– Heat Detector Provides a potential-free NO (Normally Open) contact, capable of handling 5A at 230VAC or 2A at 28VDC.

10. Relay Contacts:

– Two SPDT relays (HTD-8811-FLP) for primary and secondary alarm alerts, with a maximum load capacity of 680 ohms.

11. Communication:

– RS-485 MODBUS Protocol (HTD-8811-FLP), facilitating communication for enhanced connectivity.

12. Mechanical Construction:

– Sensing shell made of durable stainless steel for robust performance.
– Enclosure options include aluminum LM6 or stainless steel SS316 for longevity.
– Dimensions of 254mm (W) x 257mm (H) x 97mm (D) offer versatility in mounting options.

13. Weight:

– Approximately 125g for the sensing element and 2kg for the body.

14. Mounting Options:
