Magnetic Sensors

The M-190W Magnetic Sensor is a robust and high-performance self-powered sensor designed for measuring speed based on gear teeth, bolt heads, slots, or keys. With an operating distance of 0.005 inches and a minimum target size of 0.1 inches, this sensor generates an AC signal, requiring no external power source. It is compatible with Monarch ACT Series Panel Tachometers, F2A1X Frequency to Analog Converter/Tachometer, and MT-190 Magnetic Trigger Amplifier Modules. The MT-190 Magnetic Trigger Amplifier Module enhances the M-190W’s performance by extending the operating gap to 0.25 inches. With a pulsed output signal and TTL compatibility, the amplifier requires a 3.3 to 24 V dc power supply. The combined MT-190W and MT-190P (with tinned wires) are compatible with various Monarch instruments, providing flexibility for different applications, including data acquisition systems.

M-190W Magnetic Sensor Features:

MT-190 Magnetic Trigger Amplifier Module Features:

1. Enhanced Performance: Amplifies the signal of the M-190W Magnetic Sensor, improving overall performance.
2. Adjustable Operating Gap Extension: Extends the operating gap for the sensor to 0.25 inches, enhancing flexibility in target positioning.
3. Pulsed Output Signal: Provides a pulsed output signal for precise data transmission.
4. TTL Compatibility: TTL compatible with 5 V dc supplied, ensuring seamless integration with various systems.
5. Compact and Portable: Compact dimensions of 2.65 in. (L) x 1.38 in. x 1.05 in. (67.3 mm x 35.0 mm x 26.7 mm), facilitating easy installation.
6. Temperature Range: Operates within a temperature range of 20 °F to 160 °F, suitable for diverse operating conditions.
7. Low Power Consumption: Requires 3.3 to 24 V dc power supply with a low current draw of 15 mA, contributing to energy efficiency.
8. Separate Cable Lengths: Sensor and amplifier cables with lengths of 10 ft. and 1.5 ft., respectively, providing installation flexibility.
