RLS Rugged Laser Sensor
The Rugged Laser Sensor (RLS) is a robust and versatile measurement device designed for detecting rotational motion and speed in various machinery applications. Encased in a durable 316L stainless steel housing with an IP67 rating, this sensor can withstand exposure to water, oil, dust, and other contaminants. It features a visible red laser with an impressive speed range of 1 to 250,000 RPM. The RLS is equipped with a watertight M12 connector, allowing easy removal for cleaning, ensuring optimal performance even after accidental contamination. With a working distance of up to 25 feet, this sensor is suitable for applications where proximity is not convenient or safe. Setting up the sensor is simplified by aiming the laser at a reflective tape or high-contrast target.
