ROS-HT-W-25 Remote Optical Sensor High Temperature

The ROS-HT-W-25 is a High Temperature Remote Optical Sensor designed for precise rotational speed measurements in high-temperature environments, with a range of 1-50,000 RPM. Featuring a visible incandescent white light source, it can accurately detect reflective tape on a rotating object up to 24 inches away, even at a 30-degree offset angle. Housed in a threaded 303 stainless steel tube, it operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -13 °F to 257 °F [-25 °C to 125 °C]. The sensor includes a 90-degree mounting bracket, jam nuts, and a 25 ft. shielded cable with tinned wires. Operating instructions emphasize the use of reflective tape (T-5) for optimal performance, with the sensor compatible with various Monarch panel instruments. It complies with CE, Low Voltage Directive (LVD), Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC), and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS 3) standards. Caution is advised against handling the sensor at elevated temperatures.
